Great team, lousy food, horrible seating
There is always a special experience when attending a minor league game. The players put in extra effort due to the potential presence of major league scouts, and the team staff ensures top-notch service and entertainment. Plus, you might catch a glimpse of major league players during their rehab in a more intimate setting. The tickets are also much more affordable compared to major league parks.
My recent visit to the park post-renovation was quite disappointing. The front row seats, previously the best, now offer terrible views due to the dugout elevation without adjusting the seating. The 2nd tier seats provide a much better game view. The close proximity to the fencing in the first row of the 2nd tier makes it uncomfortable for taller individuals, with no cup holders and limited legroom. Personal space is also compromised due to the tight seating arrangement.
The food quality at the park was subpar, with hot dogs appearing stale, bland nacho cheese, and overpriced items compared to expectations. On the bright side, snack foods like dipping dots and kettle corn, as well as the nacho chips, were of excellent quality.
While I recommend attending the game, be cautious about seat selection and avoid the hot dogs for a more enjoyable experience. Being mindful of these aspects can make your visit much more comfortable and enjoyable.
